Principle

As little data as possible is processed. This website sets no cookies, includes no analytics or tracking services, shows no advertising and creates no user profiles. Anyone who only reads the site leaves nothing behind apart from the technically necessary server logs.

Data you enter yourself

Through the enquiry form we collect your name, the topic you selected, your preferred contact route and, if you fill those fields in, your phone number, your email address and the description of your question. Only the name and the topic are required; the phone number is only needed for a call back and the email address only for a reply by email. These details are used solely to answer your enquiry. The legal basis is your consent or the initiation of a contractual relationship at your request.

Where your data goes

As soon as you click «Send enquiry» or «Send enquiry and open WhatsApp» in the form, the details you entered are transmitted to this website's server and forwarded from there by email to the person responsible. The service Resend (Resend, Inc., USA) is used to send that email. No data is stored in a database.

If you chose WhatsApp as the contact route, WhatsApp also opens with a prepared message. That message is only transmitted through WhatsApp once you tap send there; you can change the text beforehand or cancel the process. WhatsApp is operated by WhatsApp Ireland Ltd. and Meta Platforms Ireland Ltd.; their privacy terms apply. Data may also be processed outside Switzerland and the European Economic Area. If you would rather not use WhatsApp, choose «Call back» or «Email» in the form, or contact us directly on +41 78 202 97 00 or by email at info@askgeorge.ch.

Server logs and hosting

When the website is called up, the hosting provider logs technically necessary information such as the IP address, the time of the request and the page requested. These logs serve the secure and stable operation of the site and are not combined with other data. The website is hosted by Vercel Inc.

Retention

Enquiries are kept only as long as needed to handle them and for any statutory retention obligations. After that they are deleted.

Your rights

You have the right to information about the data concerning you, as well as to its correction, deletion, restriction of processing and objection. An informal message to info@askgeorge.ch is enough. The competent supervisory authority in Switzerland is the Federal Data Protection and Information Commissioner (FDPIC).

Changes

This privacy policy may be adjusted, for example if the services used change. The version published on this page applies.
